Thank you

Dear all.

Just wanted to send a final thank you note again acknowledging the great support from the community, including the staff and customers at The Fox in support of my London Marathon.

It was a really hot day in London (so I was a little off the pace of the sub 2 hour boys), but pleased to say that my guide (Helen) and I managed to complete the run in 3hrs and 48 mins.  I was also just in time to get to the Fox for a cold beer on the Sunday evening! More importantly we raised almost £2200 for Blind Veterans UK, of which over half came from the community here in Ryton and its immediate surroundings.

Again, very humbling to have had so much support and encouragement.  A huge thank you from myself and the wider Veteran community for everyone's generous support.
